Dance at Egoart, Inc.
Choreographer Nicole Pierce has been making dances in the Boston area since 1995. Her inspirations come from a wide range of sources: confessions, old films, music, visual art, books, antique furniture, scary sub-cultures and TV, to name a few. Her pieces can be lyric and uplifting as easily as they can be dark and mysterious. The movement language is quirky, but technically based with emphasis on texture, timing, spatial structures, and small human nuances. |
