A GUEST PERFORMANCE - Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA

December 16th & 17th, 2011, 8pm

Nicole Pierce and Victor Tiernan performed in Caitlin Corbett Dance Company's Dance Company Showcase, 'I'm Like, No Way', a work in progress that considers the trajectory of recklessness through three duets and an octet. Other works featured in the performance include Without Word (1998), a lush, lyrical duet for two women and Duets (2009), an eclectic collection of 15 one-minute duets performed by a truly dynamic assortment of unlikely couplings, most of whom are non-dancers.

Nicole Pierce and EgoArt, Inc. were pleased to present Requiem as part of the first annual Cyc-Specific Festival of Art, a two week visual and performing arts event in the Boston Center for the Arts unique Cyclorama venue.

The festival was developed in response to the artist community's ongoing call for the Cyclorama to be open more frequently for artists' use, and EgoArt, Inc. were happy to be part of the inaugural presentation.

Requiem premiered in Fall of 2009 at the Armory in Somerville, MA to critical acclaim. We were excited to expand on this work in the unique space of the BCA Cyclorama.
